firstly. let me say this. i haven't woken up past 7, since the 26th of november up til
yesterday!!

well today has been a looooong day for me indeed.
woke up at 5:30,5:45 liddat..
cause my parents and brother [lucius] were leaving for Nepal.
it was well, interesting watching them pack everything into the bags and stuff.
with the hundreds of tooth brushes and tooth pastes which they were carrying to nepal.
haha..
now.
it's home alone for me. with my bro [linus]
haha. anyway..
after that..
i took a 1hr15min ride to depot..
from [changi airport] to [tanah merah] to [tiongbahru] [on 195 to depot].
arh.
reached that late and 9:45.
haha..
went through the whoooole briefing and stuff.

oh ya. timothy [lim] has this cool magic trick thing! so fun!!

that was fun.. i almost mastered it!hehe..
haha. so after that [ 5+ ] we played some basketball (tiring!)
then i hitched a ride from Brandon.

the way he talks so much about preparing and stuff and memorizing Philippians.
he inspires awe from me. makes me feel real guilty about procrastinating.
that's why i haven't played my game yet. since i came home at 7+

it's been a while.

well hello again..
it's been a while huh.
was supposed to change my blog skin soon.
but o well,
harhar. well today i re read the book 'tears of my soul'
well. i chiong-ed it and finished in like, 1-2 hours.
anyways.
it really is qutie touching.
and it really opens one's mind to the sufferings others haave endured.
brings me to thank God for how priviliged i am.
born in such a nice era (relatively)
and of course in such a peaceful country.

but today, something else also happened.
my instructor (band) once again "scolded" us,
informing, or rather reminding us of how bad we are now.
the standard's really terrible.
everytime he says things like that, it makes me worry,
makes me inspired. yet within a few days, i fear the passions flies away.
what is wrong with me? i rlly have to buck up.
plus, the juniors aren't really up to standard. and what,
now i can't depend on the sec 4s to teach them, cause now the sec3s are in leadership and the sec 4s have more or less left.
so problem arises, hopefully our batch can handle it.
go us!

oh ya. another interesting thing happened.
my faather got "robbed"
by the dumbest thief i've heard in my life.
he was on drugs so...
guess it's not that surprising.
but what really amazed me. was what happened when my father prayed
as we closed the day.. we do that everyday.
amazingly, he prayed for the theif, and asked for mercy on him
i was quite inspired.
plus, after the reading "tears of my soul",
it taught me another lesson of forgiveness,
i have to learn!

hahas.. yet another day in Singapore,
my home xD hahas.
just love the country.
just think about it,
this is perfect!
all these years, a responsible government,
an excellent geographical position,
racial and religious harmony,
relatively good economy and condition of life,
excellent lifestyle (especially hygiene).
how much better can it get?
we are so privileged.

however, something impacted me much further.
watching the NDP brought me to think about the many times
spent with my dear friends from primary school,
especially asmidah and denise.
well, i messaged them and a few other people,
and the replies i got were so amazing.
i told them about how i missed the times we had in our
class in primary school. I realized how much a single message
could bring someone to tears, and touch his/her heart.
it's really interesting.
and i'm glad i did it. it's time to get together soon.
it's been too long since we haven't seen each other.
anyway, it was really sad thinking about the happy and
enjoyable times we spent together!
i am so glad, that people can still keep 'long-distance' friendships close.
i experienced it myself.
i am so thankful to God for all my friends.
these friends that share my burden, that lighten my load.
i <3 ya all!!
i really miss the days when we could be so carefree, with little worries,
and only caring about enjoying ourselves, of course, with the usual ups and
downs of life. with the upturns and downturns that everyone has to endure.

through it all,
we have prevailed.

sec 3 outing?

Ok.
let me try to describe what happenned to A LOOONGGG DAY TODAY!!
hahas
long but FUN!!
well. for a start.
i woke up at 6:00!
like, WOW. so early.
I had to be in school at 6:30! though i reached at 6:35am xD
that's because i had to perform for my school celebrations.
band, u see.
so anyways, after it all ended, i ran off before clearing all the percussions which had to be
cleared before we were dismissed.
haha.
so i went off for our supposedly sec 3 gathering.
so den, i met marcus at the bus stop, and we tried to flag a taxi.
IT WAS DISASTROUS!!
I can't stand it lar.
it's like, 3 of the taxis got taken by other people, 1 of which was my friend.
one of them, even better. It finally came, mercedes taxi, looking nice and comfy,
then this conversation happened:

(taxi arrives, winds down window)
taxi driver : where you going?
marcus : great world city.
(lucas looks in expectancy)
taxi driver: sorry, not going in that direction.
(lucas screams in exasperation [not really xD] )

IT WAS SO IRRITATIN EHS!!
WAIT SO LONG FOR TAXI DEN SAY CANNOT!!

so anyways, we finally got our taxi, but going different direction.
it would have taken $5.50 if we took opposite the school,
but since no taxis there, we had to take one from same side as RI.
so anyways. we finally reached at great world city and the ride cost $7.20!!!
argh!
so expensive xD
after that, since marcus, elena and I had finished school so early, we went to find her.
also, since we were on the way, we bought 3 tickets to watch Disturbia.
so after that, we met elena at the food court, who was with her parents and
marcus' mother.

i had roast duck noodle.. $3.50. not bad bahs.
den elena's mom treated me to ice milo =]

so after, that, marcus, elena and I then went off to watch our movie.
that's a really big thing for me, you know, in that sense.
i have watched 13/14 movies in my WHOLE life as of today.

so after that, we walked around, made numerous phone calls to Claudia.
AND THEN.
the talk of the day.
well.
once again, i gonna tell u a short adept of the dislogue between marcus and claudia:

(marcus misheard, -.-")
marcus: ya. [!!!]

And SO,
while the three of us were in great world city,
9 people were heading toward vivocity.

but somehow or other,
we managed to get them to come to great world city.
so, while waiting, marcus, elena and I took a neoprint.

anyways, we then proceded to the bowling alley, which was pretty secluded.

so anyway, we went there, and started with our game first.
then claudia, elsia came.

oh ya, marcus' friends were next to our lanes, and they were PRO!!
it's like, they do the curls SOOOO nicely!
i tell u, if they didnt get spare or strike they would be disappointed.
anyways. we had a fun time trying different moves and stunts.
and many rolls xD
hahas.my score was so much better then i expected! it was like,

hahas. shiok. scored so many strikes and spares! [of course, relative to the previous time i played xD]
after we decided to stop, we took a picture at the bowling alley [elsia's idea]
(good thing we took it. later you'll find out why)
so then, marcus stayed to play with his friends, and the rest of us (me, claudia, elena, curtis, jethro, titus, elsia, brandon, marvin, kenneth, malcom and benjamin!) left for bishan!
supposed to kacheow robyn, david, magdalene they all. who were supposedly 'studying'
and also, to take another neoprint of all of us.
so then we went to great world city to take the FREE shuttle to orchard MRT!
there i think one of us went home, while the rest of us went to J8.
so, we arrived at Bishan MRT, and decided to find the 'study' group people.
they were at NTUC and had done some shoppping.
the people there:
david, reuben, aaron, robyn, joan, magdalene. hope i didnt miss out anyone.
oh ya, a while later, we saw althea. but she ran away after seeing us xD
hahas.
after that, we proceeded to go to the neoprint place.
BUT NO IT WAS GONE!!!
WE WERE ALL SO DISAPPOINTED AND AIMLESS!!
ARGH!!
then from there, disappointed but acknowledging we had fun, we tried to find
another neoprint place, but to no avail.
so, brandon and elsia left, then a short while later,
i left too..
so then on. i went home.

so now, here i am.. wondering at how long this post was,
and amazing that i could type for so long.
recounting experiences is fun xD

well now, i am at home,
supposedly supposed to be helping out at the garden with the barbecue pit xD
but i think it's done.

well, had sunday school as usual,

anyways, since, i think, saturday (maybe friday), i read Artemis Fowl and the Opal deception, Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony, and Harry potter and the order of the phoenix (which i definitely started on tuesday and finish at around 9pm 2 hours ago :P
